Our problems clearly lie up front.
For me Sven's a ****, how can you take 4 strikers to the world cup when 2 are unfit & 1's never even kicked a ball for his club let alone his country Now Owen's injured again lets see how highly he rates Walcote, or will it be negative 4-5-1.

Im definitely not a Hargreaves fan. I`d rather Carrick in the holding role over him any day. Im not sure i`d agree that Hargreaves played well tonight, I would agree he ran his socks off, but there just doesnt appear to be much world class quality about him IMO, he`s just there because Ledley king isn`t fit and Carrick is inexperienced.
If we play 4-5-1 next game I`d like to see Beckham drop into the midfield and play a deeper role, putting Lennon on the right, with Lamps and Gerrard in the centre, Cole on the left.
I dont know who to put up front though I`d guess Rooney, but we have no strikers who can play alone up front and hold the ball up. I cant see Walcott making any sort of appearance in this competition now the group games are completed.

Pontificating
Hargreaves actually had a superb game last night, probably because he was playing his natural position, something that hasnt happened for 4 years!! Leave him in the central midfield tidying up role and that allows lampard room to get forward as well as giving Gerrard a free roll.

Hes the England scapegoat for bandwagon jumpers. Carry on having a go when he was clearly one of the only lads last night showing any sort of desire.

Whatever happens to Engerland in this world cup, our progression is inspite of Sven not because of him
No-one left up when defending corners
10 men in a line to defend inidirect attacking free kicks against 4 opponents
Amazing substitutions
Long *****
The guy is a joke....

Joe Cole was seriously good in that game - easily the best player.
Hargreaves was also excellent IMO - won some good tackles, and really made an effort.
WTF was Sven thinking bringing Walcot tho - really bad move IMO. When he came on briefly in their friendly he looked totally outclassed, and unsure what to do. Now we only have 2 decent strikers, nice one Sven

must agree that in the friendly when Walcot came on he looked out of his depth imo, and as for Hargreaves i thought he had a fantastic game last night.
As for becks, for the 3 games we've had he's not worth a **** but will sven drop him more chance of getting a **** of the pope
