Great goals, I clapped them as they went in, nice too see but I feel really sorry for Germany, was cheering them on to win it, theyve been a great host and the competition isnt over yet, I hope they continue to welcome other fans through the final few days of the tournament.

I'd have to agree with this... but still you can't deny Italy for finishing with 2 great goals

I thought the ref had a good game too..... a couple of early fouls in the game where he just told the players to get up and get on with it (or that's what he seemed to be saying by his waving of the arms )

What a great game, maybe the FA should get a copy of the game and make McCLaren watch it every day, hats off to ITA and GER for playing in such a positive non diving manner, best game of the WC for me, some lovely football played.

Definitely not the best Italian team on paper but boy do they play as a team.

Even though it was 0-0 after normal time that was one of the best games of the tournament so far

How ironic though, England go out playing typically Italian, negative, defensive football, just as the Italian national team decide that positive, attacking football is the way forward

It was feckin awsome seeing those goals go in! I waited weeks for that moment last night and it wasn't dissapointing

Was out with hundreds of Germans watching it last night whilst wearing my England shirt, when the first goal went in the Germans started to leave, then when the 2nd went in all of them got up to leave, by the final whistle the place was nearly empty

The Germans are such bad losers.

Last Sunday when we got knocked out by Portugal we stayed and partied with the Portuguese, Brazilians, German, French and anyone else who happened to be there, not skulk of before the end just cos we were losing.

Absolutely outstanding match, best so far I think. The Italians pushed that bit harder though and I think they deserved the win. Looking forward to France v Portugal tonight. Even going to miss my fishing
