Last thing on Abramovich's mind is making a profit from the players, theyre strengthening the team because, believe it or not, there are other trophies they would like to win other than the EPL. Shevchenko is by far the best striker for the particualar trophy they have their eye on and made perfect footballing sence to buy him, regardless of what it costs.

Gallas was quality before Mourinho arrived, still quality now, you can see why they want him to stay, did he play central defence under the tinker man ?? I can't remember, he used to put the goals away as well.

 

no doubt my opinion of Cashley has changed since all the stuff that went on last year. big shame because he's a born gooner.
