Sweet Baby Jesus - Tevez and Mascharano join the Hammers
**** Me
Didn't see that coming, fair play to the Hammers at least they didnt sit on their ***** like some I know.
Edited
Ooops due to shock I didnt see the other posts, these guys either had no concrete offers and hope to show their wares to the big 4 or they're just passing through waiting for the I talians to sort out their problems and move on next summer.
Thats probably the biggest coup since Ossie and Ricky tipped up at Spurs in 78

I'm still finding it hard to accept.
Sky Sports and the BBC are all running the story from one questionable source (Tevez's web site) and, thus far, there has been no confirmation from West Ham.
I can only hope that Carlos' webmaster has a poor grasp of the English language and has mistaken 'Manchester United' for 'West Ham United'.
Clutching at straws, I know, but I don't see why MSI would move them to West Ham, especially considering the interest from ourselves, Arsenal and Chelski.

One year loan is good enough for me. A full season out of them, if they get off to a flyer I wouldnt mind betting they could end up staying unless theyre feeling home sick.
Not 100% convinced they'll do too much though, not really seen many South Americans make it over here. Although Tevez's style may well suit.

Just reading a little more into it, it could well be a publicity stunt being put on the Tevez site before anything is confirmed to get a price increase from the 3 other big guns to steal them before the end of the day. Cant see West Ham wanting any of this getting out til the last minute IMO.

They don't have room for them both at the moment, so I can only presume they've told MSI to loan them to someone who can not do any damage to their own campaign (no disrespect to West Ham) and they'll pick them up next summer.

the allegations I have heard are that Corinthians dont want an outright sale, they want a future share of any follow-up transfer fees, something man U and the **** wouldnt entertain.
The Argentines reckon that future transfer fees would sky rocket after a season or so in the prem, before being shipped to Spain/Italy
I had heard that PFC were trying to get in on it, but the hammers moved quick and fair play for soing so.

Ive heard different... Aparently Abramovich is supposed to be behind MSI. It was he who originally instigated/funded the move to Corithians in the first palce for Tevez. As Chelsea dont have the room for these 2 to join Chelsea at the minute. it sounds like theyre spending that year on loan at WHU at Chelseas request, there isnt room for them at the minute at Stamford Bridge so sending them to UP gives Chelsea a chance to scope out if theyre worth buying for the English game if the deal isnt already agreed in principle.

Talk Bull**** Sport are also saying Reo to Man Utd, according to one of my drivers, a hammer man,, but then I have always viewed Talk Sport as the Sunday Sport of the radio sports world, full of alcoholic drama queens trying to out do each other with their bull****, very little constructive or interesting content to be fair.

Thay maybe only with us for a year but what a year it could be
We may not be one of the biggest clubs in the world, but every one in the football world has heard of West Ham for the way we play our footy and of our history Bringing these two world class players to West Ham (and still way in there prime)can only highlight our profile and intentions even more
Up the Hammers

Still not 100% sure on this.
Why are West Ham yet to confirm the deal for the pair?
They've been 'unavilable for comment' since 9am this morning - I suspect something's not right.

As I said at 9:45am, every media outlet was running from Carlos' web site (nothing more), which is a questionable source.
I'm sure we'll find out within the next seven hours.

Also just heard the Reo deal could be off. United only want to spend 10m but WHU are asking 18m.... (probably to chuck in that 15m bid for tevez...lol)

If they do sign for West Ham, it's certainly not down to the club alone, rather due to the request of Mr. Abramovich and MSI.
You've got people on Sky Sports News stating that this is the start of a revolution, and that more world-class players will be itching to sign up in the future.
Get real - you're being used to store the cash cows of Chelsea, until they've bedded in to the Premiership, eliminating the risk of paying £20m + for their services.

I take it all back filfy, looks like they are staying.
OK next theory , MSI stump up a large percentage of the transfer fee with an understanding that when a specific amount is offered for either player in the next two years they are sold and MSI pocket a large percentage of the fee's, a little like the situation in "Striker" lol
