http://www.chelseafc.com/article.asp...ub=latest+news

what to chelsea think they are doing releasing statement like this i am a chelsea fan and i just don't understand why chelsea would put out a statement like this.the statement could if williams gallas and arsenal decide to will drag chelsea though the courts and damage the already poor view people now have for chelsea.

Wink

Can the view most people have of them GET any lower? I suspect the Russian mafioso just doesn't care anyway. I'm surprised Gallas isn't sleeping with the fishes right now

i read what williams gallas said about how he is now playing for the best fans in england and what he also said about chelsea fans being poor but he is only saying what a new player for a club would say great fan/stadium/manager and so on.so i don't understand chelsea would do this why didn't just let gallas get on with it and just get on with playing football.so gallas fell out with chelsea over money why is that a issue we has fans all know that players will play for the club that pays the most and arsenal were willing to pay him more than chelsea why knock him for that its the reason why cole went to chelsea

Everyone knows how much of a sulker Gallas is and it doesnt suprise me one little bit about what he got up to but Chelsea are only making it worse for themselves coming out with that statement, they should just be happy they got rid of a player like that and be done with it.

Very petty from Chelsea and very sad that Gallas a "professional" footballer would act in this manner, but what do you expect these days

Default Class

Chelsea seem to have no class

just as Man Utd lacked class in the late 90's and early 00's....

the common denominator?

I dont see anything wrong with putting out a statement like that giving the fans the full story.
After all as soon as he made the move the Arsenal fans were all of a sudden the best in England , good ridance to him .

What sort of class was he showing not turning up to training when he should have?
"Rich club but no class" not rich enough to be held to ransom over paying him more than the £80k a week he was offered.

So now Kenyon has left Man U they have all of a sudden got class?

Are you sure its not that they were the most successful club of those times and everyone just jumped on the band wagon to hate them, now of course Chelsea are the most successful and its our turn

firstly, big teams with history (say liverpool, united, arsenal) don't resort to putting up statements like chelski did.

do you not think there was loads of crap going on with cole, but we wish him the best in his future career..thats how clubs with class act.

secondly, this is gallas, your player of the year twice, who had been with chelski for 6 years, I believe there are 2 sides here and your just hearing what chelski want you to hear because they can't stand the fact that they ended up, according to the press, out manouvered in the transfer dealings.

You think we are paying gallas more than 80k a week

Wenger once said that Real Madrid is a big club run by small men. I think Chelski have shown they are a small club run by small men.

Does that give him the right to flaunt club rules and not turn up for training?
Who when bought by "Chelski" was not playing international football and only had a french division 2 medal to his name

You wanted £25 million for Cole we offered £20, you offered £8 million for Gallas and we got Cole for the swap of Gallas and £5 million mmm! what ever you say

You had to match the wages offered by Chelsea otherwise he wasn't going to join such a big and historical club as yours

yes you are gallas has according to the media anyway is on the same deal that chelsea offered him around 85k a week.the problem i see is that will arsenal ask him to play at left back because that is one of the reason he wanted to leave chelsea.to be honest am sad he's left.
