Default Why won't Alex Ferguson speak to the BBC?

I seem to remember there was some sort of fall-out, but I can't remember what about or when or who was involved.

Anyone enlighten me?

IIRC it was Alan Green of Radio 5 fame.

This was a few years ago and I thought they were buddies now. Maybe there's something else now

Who cares about what that old alcoholic has been has got to say anyway?

Can never understand why people are so interested in the BS that goes around football. The game yes, the politics and cr@p about personalities, no.

If you'd have typed your question in to google rather than SN, you'd have found the same link

All the 'anti Sir Alex' people... Get this topic into the sports section quick, before any more part time jealous armchair football followers share their shoddy biased opinion on the greatest football manager alive today

My opinion is not biased, I'm a neutral not supporting any team over another (except obviously I hate Arsenal and Blackburn). I just can't understand the fascination with what some old jerk has to say.

Nice...
I got drunk at a swanky function once and approached Sir Alex, shook his hand as my legs swayed without my feet moving and then I opened my mouth.
I intended to praise him on his 'pre Abramovic ruining football' successes, but all I managed to say as we shook hands was...

"You're God" :
