After you mentioned about the "scrappy goals" we score, nice to see the pile drivers United scored last night

Yeah, Scholes' finish was a pure fluke!

But, credit where it's due. Drogba's strike was spectacular, Hilario was solid (which was fairly surprising considering the amount of football he has played recently) and you deserved the three points.

That said, Barca were very disappointing tonight.

Hilarios kicking was hilarious (see what I did there ) The guy cant kick for ****. Hilario was solid because he had bugger all to do. The Chelsea defence and midfield coped with Barca easily. Very proffesional performance, draw away from home and youve qualified, not that we didnt expect you to qualify anyway.

If Hilario kicks like that in the premiership with strikers who are told to close down the defenders it could be an interesting few weeks.

Cudicini looks like he'll make the weekend though?

Some suggestions of Bartez going to Chelsea. Not being funny but Jose is mad, but not stupid! lol

Yeah, great.

Good to see Mourinho being as sensible as ever - jail time for a fan who threw a plastic bottle at Lampard?

Although, it was appropriate to see Lampard trying to calm things down (as Chelsea players are having to do more and more often, e.g. Makelele):

"It was only a plastic water bottle and there are no hard feelings for me."

He's turning Stamford Bridge into a pantomime theatre. Good job it's not my club!

Glad you agree.

Arise King Eric:

Does one not agree that Mr. Mourinho would be better buttoning it at times?

It's all gelling very nicely - we're playing some exciting football, some of the best in a long time. Should have scored six or seven on Saturday.

Vidic and Evra have both proved themselves this season (I had my doubts, especially over Evra) and Carrick is finding his feet. His vision on Saturday was spot on (although he'll never get the credit he deserves), especially for the first and fourth goal. Once he's well and truly on the same wavelength as Rooney, Saha and Ronaldo (Scholes and Giggs too), we'll be able to manufacture yet more chances. There's so much pace without Ruud, as effective as he was.

I'm hoping we'll carry the momentum into Wednesday night's game.

Yup, I'm happy.

Bit of a pain that you're still on our tail.
