Well done Milamber I just came on here to start one.
just trying to work and watch W.I. v PAK, stuffed a £10er on PAK for some interest.
So open this year, could be one of 6 teams I reckon, India, S.Africa, Australia, Pakistan with Eng and NZ as outsiders, I did think maybe the hosts but after that game against India I realised they would not stand a chance, it seems the locals aren't too interested either the ground is way off capacity.

Took pakistan to win this one.
Laying SA and betting Sri Lanka & India for the tournament at the moment too.
350+ sixes looks a good bet given the size of the grounds in the WI

yes betfair. Had half an hour wandering through the offers this morning
350 in 50 games is only 7 per *game* , we've had more than 7 so far in the 1st innings ....

Im going for +400 especially as scotland have put the Ozzies in, fair play to them for doing that, they didnt have too but if they had gone in to bat the match could have been over as a contest after about 20 overs.

hope so , bit short on sixes so far
Apparently Ponting would have batted too. Good practice and an opportunity to get the NRR up going forward.

Just got this from the bbc web site -live text
22nd over: NZ 97-4
Good work from Styris - he squirts Monty away behind square for three, and then helps himself to two singles. Ian Bell chased the former with a strange rolling gait, rather like the Hofmeister bear.

It could possibly be the strangest day in World cricket! I just wish I had Sky to watch the two games but I don't. If Pakistan lose to Ireland they are out already but I think the Pakistan bowlers will pull them out of it, Irish are 71-4 so still 60 odd runs to go. Great to see India getting a pasting from Bangladesh, would never have put money on that result

I didn't back anyone but if I had it would have been an India Pakistan double, it's brilliant stuff though, I said at the start its the most open WC ever, but I certainly didn't envisage the sort of games we have seen today, if Ireland win they'll be on three points, remember this is only their 3rd full international match and they are on the brink of beating one of the best teams in the world !
Having witnessed the pitches it's still anyones because between now and April 28th those pitches will deteriorate, I still expect a member of the super8 to win it but the pitches could throw up some strange results, and people were saying there were a lot of nothing games this week, tell that to India and Pakistan. 98/4 with 17 overs to get 35 runs, surely they can do it, I wonder what this will do for Cricket in Ireland, something tells me it will go ballistic and they'll be playing tests within 10 years.
On St paddy's day as well you couldn't have written this I just hope I haven't bocked them....
