Good fight, looking quick and sharp for a heavyweight. Hopefully get his shot at the title next year

my thoughts exactly, dont often see heavy weights who want to throw lots of punches. thats his cruiser weight pedigree shining through. hoping he stays in this shape as the bigger boys will find it hard to cope with power and speed in one package.
Enjoyed his honesty to when asked if he can take a punch. NO

Haye looked sharp on Sat, he has speed & power but he's not ready for either of the Kiltchko's yet, he need a few more fights under his belt and a little more mass on him

If anything he rushed the fight on Sat, which could have cost him

i agree he was a little wastefull with his punches, that combined with someone that can really hit back and has a good chin i think he would wilt under the pressure. he does need a good extra stone on him to really compete, but maybe that would effect his speed? looks a good prospect for us though!

Hatton looked sharp on Saturday, but if i'm completely honest i wanted to see more from him & expected a KO & not a stoppage

There's talk on Hitman is up for an Oscar | The Sun |Sport|Boxing of a Hatton V De La Hoya on May 3rd 09 at either Wembley or Millenium stadium

Bit premature seen as Hatton has always agreed to fight the winner of De La Hoya & Manny's fight on the 6th December

If it does happen, i hope it's later in the year.................. I have a stag do that weekend!!!
