Default India spank England again

What with Australia being spanked in India last week and now England on the receiving end in the one dayers you've got to think India are probably the best side on the planet at the moment.

Ponting is getting some serious treatment from the national press down here in Oz, which I think is a little unfair because he is a quality captain as well as being one of the best players on the planet for some time, fair play to him though he just brushes it off with his usual charm .

Should make for an interesting Ashes series next summer without a doubt as this Aussie team is probably the worst I've seen for a long while, Brett Lee looks shot to pieces and recently had a stand up row with Ponting in India as he had the ball taken away from him.

Bring on the summer, well my winter, which will probably be drier and warmer than the UK Summer

I blame Bell

Great choice on picking an all rounder in Bopara and then not bowling him

Bumped into my sis yet

No, no sign of you sis yet, I shall continue to look though what part of Sydney does she live in ??

Whilst surfing I have been listening to some stuff on you tube and found this lovely Mode remix, maybe it's on that disc you did for me, I'll have to check it out again when the container finally arrives

You're going to fit in well around here

Now.... the crucial test...... Is Bell a liability who has an occasional lucky break or a godsend with an unlucky streak

And thats the problem. They don't know what their best team is ...

Bell is a riddle wrapped in an enigma wrapped in a lidl carrier bag. He seems to *try* too hard in one-dayers and it rarely comes off.

They looked horribly undercooked on Friday, I didn't catch much of Mondays game (i'm not really good with mornings so getting up is a bit of a lottery)

How the ECB agreed to 7 odi's and only 2 tests is frankly disgusting..

The thing is Bell has an undoubted talent, but I keep saying that and how long until we say enough is enough, but I still think he's doing "enough", just

I think they only got the tour because of the 7 ODI's, they love their ODI's in India, tests are secondary to them and I'm sure they paid the ECB plenty so as is these day in sport money talks.

Well I'm a few hours ahead of India so no issue getting up but sadly they're not showing it on Foxtel, shame as Sky always showed non England games live and as Murdoch owns them both I;'d have thought it would have been live funnily enough they did show a 2 hour highlights of the Lords test against SA last night, why ?

My beloved Middx will have to take a back seat for a while, I now have the New South Wales to follow, at least the Sheffield Shield matches will be on telly + Aus vs NZ 1st test starts tomorrow, they've recalled Symonds after his rehab from his drinking issues and he looked in good form last week in the 20-20 against Gillys all stars. Have no fear I wont be an Aussie, always a proud Pom , just need a little test match fix....

Cant wait for the Ashes now.

Good day for the Kiwi's too

Not enough runs on the board for Eng. Desperate lack of singles.

India are unbeatable at home...nearly....

Cricket has a lot to do with adapting to the different field/wicket conditions, on the sub continent, most top sides struggle, just as Pakistan, SL or India find it a bit more hard going in England on the bouncier wickets.

Healy said this morning that there would be plenty of wickets on that pitch this morning, he wasn't wrong !

387 to win for india.

After the furore over over rates with the Australia tour, India were 11 overs short by tea and Eng weren't much better in the 1st innings. Lets see if the rules will be applied consistently...
