Default Interesting day of football

over the moon with the result.

yes, it was a good 2 yards of side but tbh im not arsed and we finally got some luck.
was destroyed first half, chelsea were faster to the ball, stronger and wanted it more.
what a diff a goal makes.

I can imagine losing this way will hurt more than being outplayed.

I see Ronaldo's cheating goes on. "i heard a whistle"............lying ****

Great results for United. Liverpool to draw tonight in their race for 3rd place.

People will go on about Ronaldo and rightly so. That tackle he did for the first yellow was a leg breaker and shouldn't be allowed in our game!

I did however think Terry was harsh to get a yellow for his uncontrolled 2 footed lunge.

He never ****ing does when it's his players, but is able to spot a foul on an arsenal player from 10 miules away, and berates the ref for it.

Lets just say the real incidents which should be reds are wrapped up in macho crap like 'it's a mans game' and yet we end up seeing players sent off for nothing incidents.

Doing an Arsene here but i didn't see Ronaldos first yellow but he must have heard something to so delibrately handball like that as i'm sure he's not that stupid.
As for John terry watch him try to run at pace is hilarious and 2 feet ,lunging off the ground i thought was always an instant dismissal but obviously not

This unfortunately shows why the 'Respect the Officials' will not work (the first Arsenal goal definately isn't going to help as that was one of the worst decisions ever)

RVP was a good 2 yards onside.

Terry's tackle was bad(seen people go for less, like RVP "awefull" tackle on stoke keeper) and the only noise Ronaldo heard was an airhorn. bit of a difference between whistle and that

also chelsea's stand in CB Ivanic(spelling) should of walked as he commited 3 cylinical fouls. but only getting 1 yellow??

chelsea were lucky to have 11 on at the end.

Thought city were poor and man u were never tested even with 10 men, good display

Trust me i'm glad for the dodgy Arsenal decision but in the big picture the inconsistancy of refereeing this weekend isn't helping the Respect campaign

Thank you very much Gooners. 3pts closer to Chelsea now. Shame 'pool have a chance to go top tonight but hey ho you cant have it all

As for ronny well he was lucky not to get a 2nd yellow after his first booking when he clapped the ref - muppet. As for the handball I thought a little harsh - it looks more like he puts his hands up to stop the ball hitting him in the face. I see no reason why he would use his hands when he was plenty high enough up from the nearest defender and would have had a good chance to get a header on target. Its not like he did a Maradona and poked it into the net or even in the right direction.

Ronaldo getting sent off was just silly. The yellow for his first offence was garbage and how he gained any benefit for putting his hands in front of his face I'll never know.

That said, I thought it was hilarious and the ref should have sent him off for clapping when he got the first yellow so justice was served.

RVP was miles offside and as per the comments above, 'I didn't see it' Wenger is back on form.

My team lost to Everton and although it was a lucky deflection, we didn't do anything to deserve any points. Gutted that we only have three points from Fulham, Everton and Blackburn after taking seven from Liverpool, Arsenal and Man City.

I think Chelsea will find it much tougher in home games now as the fear factor of going to the Bridge is well and truly gone. I suspect all is not well with the players and management.
As for United, still not convincing although they do tend to get stronger in the 2nd half of the season.

What's Rafa doing with his subs again? Hardly going to fill your £20mil striker with confidence when he's hauled off every game.

I'd haul him off too the way he's playing. Personally I'd start with Babel up front and send Keane off for some more training.

Well he's not set the world alight in games I've seen. Missed some great chances to be fair. Babel if he got a first touch could do a job through the middle I'm sure.

Should have left Keane where he was and pressured the greedy Yanks into letting him buy David Villa.

Hindsight it a wonderful thing isn't it?

Do you really think that Valencia would have let Villa go for the same money? Especially when Real allegedly offered £37.5m for him.

Time is running out for the yanks to refinance their debt . . .
