Khan is just going to have patsies to fight for a good bit now.

He was found out, and now it's a long road back.

Yep - its now just a case of how many patsies can be lined up so he can fill the bank account. He was looking dodgy for a couple of fights before the last one and the Americans do not rate him anymore. He'll only come up against a top fighter now when he's ready to quit and get a good payday.

Pasties or not they all go to the gym and say they are fighters, he was hardly going to go up against the best in his return fight.
Give the lad a break, he has the speed, strength and commitment to become a great British champion.

There is a lot of hype about Amir and people think he is a really good fighter because he gets a lot of press coverage, what a lot don't know though, is in his weight he is ranked #62nd in the world. He will never be a proper champion.

Sorry to hijack the thread but you clearly follow boxing what you all think about calzaghe should he fight again or retire 46 and 0. If you think he should fight again who should he fight and where. Would be nice to see him at the millenium stadium as a fairwell but wouldnt want him to loose his unbeaton record.

Retire, he has no opponent worthy left.

That is a very unfair view, look how young he is, he can and probably will challenge and maybe even win a championship.

I watched almost all the fights last night. They were all very good. Khan won it in about 1minute and 37 seconds. Good lad I have to say that he has a long road ahead before he can stand against Prescott again- to win, or even to lose. Nevertheless, Khan is a damn good fighter.

I remember watching his interview once, where he said that he likes to entertain his audience. IMO he needs to forget about entertaining his audience, no one gives a ****! He needs to focus, and beat the hell out of his opponents; just like other senior professional boxers do. Once he gets that focus bit sorted, he can do wonders IMO. He needs to keep his eyes on his opponent, without thinking of his audience, or anyone in the back of his mind.

LOL one interesting comment came from my son's friends last night. When they saw Amir's dad on the TV, they said- "Oh, that's his dad, that! Amir looks nothing like him, does he ?" LOL

Did anyone watch Walsh brothers? Jesus! They are good, the pair of them!

I forgot all about it and accidently stumbled across it in round 2. Ranks up there in favourite fights. superb

has laid down a challenge to calzaghe aswell. he wants to gain weight and calzaghe drop. hope Joe doesnt take him up on it. would be a good fight but calzaghe doesnt need to prove jack.

never knew Kahn was ranked 62nd thought he had worked his way up.

He is showing at Lightweight as 14th in WBO and IBF?
