Why dont you deal with the trolls on this site rather than closing a thread. Fair play I contributed to it's downfall with my comments, but they were edited out by your goodselves.
I'd understand if the wounded Ashley was a proper member of this forum but his only contributions in the 7 years I have been on SN have been inciteful and argumentative.
Deal with the real issues...

I may be being unfair on NAF but he has a United vendetta and hates any thread where United or one of their players are bigged up. It's happened before so I expect he took great pleasure in closing the thread.

Since when did the sports forum need moderating anyway? We've always gone by without it, if anyone was offended surely theyd report it. Typically the mod is a scouse fan aswell, biased if you ask me

seems like they are dealing with the real issues, you cant use the internet as an outlet for spouting obscenities at others. Look at your own shortfalls before criticising others.
as for being a proper member, I've bought many a good item though GroupBuys for my P1 and posted on other forums, not sure what qualifies as a "proper member"

I think NAF was right to close the thread. I politely asked everyone to play nice and it was ignored; SSS asked again; the thread was tided and the slagging match continued. Regardless of who started it or who retaliated, it was going nowhere fast.
I'm sure we can carry on the usual banter without resorting name calling. Its footie, we won't all get along nor see eye-to-eye always but we're adult enough to use a bit of restraint aren't we?

STI you seem to have some issue relating to one thread I closed as long time ago that you had resurfaced from years back for the sole purpose of baiting.
The fact that it was Ash's final comment that led to me closing the thread shows that your comments aren't at all true by any means
As a general rule we do give posts in Sport a bit more leyway as we can all be passionate about our relevant clubs however personal insults and libelous comments will not be tolerated

It's all been down hill since the "invincibles", only one jammy FA cup win
But stuff the dippers this weekend and they'll be a lot of happy chaps in here as well as a few tears shed in Leeds into someone's orange squash (sorry I just can't help myself)

Hoping we do get a nice result against the pool. It would show that the skill is there but the motivation to play the so called smaller clubs isnt.
