He's the most natrual finisher England have, he just needs a decent run of games. He must have been promised that otherwise why would he come back.

remember kiddy-winks that Defoe is loyal to Harry, not Tottenham.
Great business for pompey, paid for Mendes, Kaboul and a tidy little profit on top, just for borrowing Germ Defoe for a year
He starts out keen enough but it doesn't take a lot for him to lose interest

Well if that's what it takes for my club to be financially stable then that's what I have to put up with.
We have been punching above our weight for a while now and were kidding ourselves it was sustainable with a 20,000 seater stadium.
I would like to think that there are 3 teams more **** than us and that we will survive this year.
Remember we still have some quality players contracted to the club (+ Nugent ) so if we hang on this year we have a chance of becoming a mid table mediocre side again.
Well thats what I'm hoping for anyway.
