Andy Murray out of Australian Open
Was he really the favourite to win this tournament? When the great champions like Federer have their backs to the wall in the Grand Slam events, they somehow find extra reserves of mental energy to fight back and win. Sure Murray is a fine player, but posterity only really remembers the winners of the 4 Major tournaments, rather than the various other ATP events, that he does so well in.
