Anyone else have the privilege of watching the Bobby Charlton story on BBC2

From the days before ABU"s existed.

We had a similar player here at our club: Jack Brownsword. He was a fullback, only ever played for us, made over 500 appearances, scoring just over 50 goals, all but one from the penalty spot. He never missed a penalty.

Came to work by bus, or pushbike.

The fans here are trying to get a statue of him, since he died last year, but the club are dragging their feet as usual, even though it would be us, the fans who pay.

We need to raise £60,000, but they have now put it on hold "until next season".
