Neons On A Sti8 (flame suit already on)
#1
Ok... well.... erm... I really really really liked the look of the Evo and that Skyline in 2Fast2Furious ... Those Blue Neons looked amazing.. and... well im gonna get it done to mine... (/me ducks)
Oh comeon ... you have to admit .. a Blue Sti8 with a sutle blue glow coming from all the right places would look pretty amazing!!
Anyone know how the law sits on neons on cars?? I know that if the bulb is visable that they have to be certain colours . But a glow coming from under the car... Apparently isnt illegal, but is a very gray area..
And any general thought and opinions will be appreciated
And i swear that my car will not be appearing in MAX POWER no matter how much they begg

do it right and don skimp on the kit, and it will look amazing...i sugest lowering the car as well
By "Skimp" i mean a kit from halfords or a car shop.....a good neon kit will set you back around £500+..thats for a total under car lighting kit........but i suspect that you wanted just a few neons.......that flame suit better be a tight fit...
all the best

ours came from Salsa King and are the same ones as used on F&F first time round. It's a laugh but you won't get any extra bhp though

vash I have an idea.
The skyline in 2f2f was primarily silver, and had blue neons. if you have a blue car, why not a WHITE glow?
The upside is that if you ever need to work under the car, you'll already have enough light!
Seriously now, if you're going to have the neon, make sure you can back it up with the driving ability! You know you'll attract a $hitload of attention!

Whenever I watch any F&F movies I always get the urge to sticker-up/neons etc lol! Don't think I'd be brave enough to take it out the garge though

i was at a local car accessories shop checking out the neon kits, they were selling for £180 inc vat( fitting kit+ 4 neons), what puts me off the idea is how the brackets are attatched to the underside........presume it's drilled into the sill area behind the sideskirts...whatever but won't corrosion be a problem ?? I keep thinking when winter comes with plenty of salt on the roads....you get the picture.
Still any fourthcoming advice from folk that has already done this
mod would be appreciated.......cheers !!
