There was a thread relating to badges with links to sites that sell different types of badges. Check through and see if you can find what your looking for.
My scoob is black with gold wheels, I must admit gold subaru badges would look the mut's nuts.

If youre thinking of this tiny mod, ive had an idea...
As these letter come seperately, lining them up COULD be quite tricky.
Im going to use the following method:-
Remove one letter at a time and replace with NEW letter, as there are the same number of letters, getting the spacing right wont be a problem

Spoke to the people at Kickin Grifin today who said they will make gold letters in the original subaru style if there is a demand for them.
The ones seen on the 'scooby' car are in escort cosworth style.
You know what you have to do know don't you? Let kickin grifin know we want them! Phone calls, emails, threats, whatever it takes!

They didn't give a number, they just said that they would produce a different style of lettering if the demand was great.
They did seem quite excited at the prospect.

I would imagine they would produce a whole A-Z in the subaru style so people could spell out whatever they like.
Has anyone else made a request to kicking grifin yet?

This is mine guilty as charged.....
Pleased you all like it, must not take full credit because i had the idea off Dude who's also looks brilliant,
Heres my pic site see what you think,
http://gallery8875.fotopic.net/
The S C O O B Y letters are alloy and chrome plated not plastic like the S U B A R U letters and they are sticky backed......... very good quality trust me.
Just come across this thread and noticed the link to the other one that was started, pleased to see you all like them....
What i will say is its not as simple as just removing the others one at a time and sticking the new one's on, as the S C O O B Y
letters are a different size they need fine tuning on the spacing, and the positioning on the boot is crutial for them to look the buisness !!
If any of you guys are interested i have detailed instructions
that i wrote out for Brun..... just drop me an e-mail and i will forward them for you... it will give you an idea of how i went about it.
Pleased to see that a "sportster" that's me LOL has helped inspire some of you Turbo guys with a damn good idea !!
Cheers
Simon
Must add yes they are Ford Escort letters !!!!
and they are slightly smaller than the S U B A R U one's,
When putting them on the boot if you space them the same distance as the originals it just does not look right..... they look lost as they are to far apart.

I'll save your email clicking finger for you
Instructions:
Just in case you have not tried removing the lettering before i will tell you how i went about it.
You will see some people suggest using a hair dryer to warm the subaru logo up to remove it but i always boil the kettle and just pour a small amount over each letter at a time..... double a length of cotton or fishing line and run that behind each letter back and forth in a sawing motion, when the letter comes off pour some more water over the adhesive and peel as much off with your finger nail as you can, be careful of the paint work you can scratch it quite easy, what ever adhesive is left i used white spirit on..... this should clean it all off, then a gentle coat of t-cut to clean any residue.
Right next step,
I cello-taped 2 sheets of A4 paper together length ways..... (this will give you a template to us for spacing) my letters are between 30 to 35mm apart, roughly place "scooby" on the paper spacing them out, use a tape measure for final adjustments and when you are happy pencil around them as if you are using a stencil.......
Next,
I used fine line tape but masking tape will be ok just stick it on the boot horizontally, mark the centre of the tape to get exact centre of the boot do the same to the plan a vertical line up the middle of "scooby" then stick the plan just on the tape line...... must remember to say the fine line tape is a straight line to stick letters above........ so when plan is attached you have the spacing to attach each letter above exactly.
Right no beer the night before as a steady hand is needed !!!!! peel the backs off one letter one at a time, line up above the plan and the gently place on the boot...... but Brun be careful make sure they are in the right place and that the letters are vertical because as soon as they touch the paint work mate they are stuck. ... no second chance, a very delicate hand is required for this one believe me.......
Fingers crossed and you will be another member of the "SCOOBY" club !!!
