I am looking to get a front lip spoiler for my 98sti. What is the best one to get and where do i get it from? I like the one from the p1 but where would i get one and does it just go over the existing one? What would expect to pay? Cheers Gary

Gary, If your car is a 98 STi, it'll be a version 4, I think the version 5 came out in 99. The bumpers are different between the two model years.

I have a UK 98 which has the same bumper as the STi 4. I have the Prodrive/STi 3 piece lip spoiler which fits over the top, see below.


You can now get aftermarket versions at reasonable cost, I think about £200-250 unpainted. Try MRO or TSL Motorsport.

Thanks for the reply tony, But mine is a sti v5 s reg The bumper is different with short indicators than the one you have. But i suppose the same company you sent me will have them for my model also? Thank you Gary

This is true Gary - you should be able to get prices from them for a P1 style lip spoiler too.

Cheers for the reply simon, That looks like the one i want. The standard one is is just a bit to high off the ground and i have seen a few pics with different spoilers and i think that could be the one. Cheers Gary
