Question

The tailpipe on my ScoobySport backbox has accumulated a build-up of soot and general crap. Normal washing doesn't seem to shift it. Whats the best thing to use to get it off ? I was thinking of using Autosol, but I want something non-abrasive. I don't want something really expensive either !!!

Any suggestions welcome.

Cheers,

T

Tar remover works for stubborn stains, but you use a lot of it. Also used Brasso and some general metal cleaner too.

Question

And where do I buy this Autosol, please?
My TSL Group N backbox (well, the car's really), is a bit mucky.

Thanks everyone - looks like tar remover followed by Autosol are the answer, especially as I already have both in the garage.

Cheers,
