Question

I'm going to have a go at fitting my new Scoobymania spoiler tommorrow and was wondering if there was anyone that could give me some tips as I was thinking about running a bead of silicone around the screw holes to stop any water getting into the boot. Does anyone not recommend this for some reason? Any advice would be appreciated.

Thumbs up

For silicone, read Cicaflex, or Puriflex, available from auto paint suppliers.
Bead then runs round screw holes, and all the way round the outer edge of the spoiler. When bolted into place, remove any excess with paper towel and white spirit.
When dry, you really can remove bolts, and the thing won't shift!

Cool

Thanks alcazar, I will attempt to get hold of that stuff you mentioned but it is pretty hard getting through to the Germans when your German is crap!
