Got a std looking Red MY98 Impreza UK Turbo just want to do a few subtle mods to make the car look a bit tidier....

So far...

Clear Front Indicators
White Side Repeaters

Intended

Half White/Half Red Rear Lenses (From an STI?)
STI6 Lower Lip (or is there a nicer looking one?)
Colour Code Wing Mirrors (Essential)
Colour Code Sills (Essential)
Colour Code Rear Black Plastic Bits (Essential)

I want to keep the rear spoiler std and not fit a big f**k off one
I'm also debating whether to colour code the door handles or not

Any suggestions / ideas / futher mods are more than welcome!...

MY99-00 clear headlights.
Silver or anthracite 17" alloys, not sure about gold on red.
PIAA or Cibie driving lights, or possibly STi blanking plates.

Yeah Gold on Red, I've only got 16"s but 03STis are on the 'todo' list! - But you're right they do look better with the low spoiler - which has an added benefit that you can actually see out of the rear windscren

I've already got a set of Subaru 4-pots fitted (re-painted black with white Subaru lettering)...

Got a lovely 4/5" Magnex Round Back-Box

I'm very happy with the 16" Subaru Alloys (not a scratch on them)


The MY99 Clear Headlights sound interesting.... How much do those retail for?...

New, I think you're looking at around £300 the pair, I think £150-175 is realistic second-hand.

cinders, you've gotta get 18" P1 alloys on your car mate! i was happy with my std alloys and then i got the P1's, on the red car they look the bollox!
maybe 22b bonnet vents? if i ever get pics of mine on computer i'll send you some

STI6 spoiler wont fit. You'll need the STI4 front spoiler.

I have just done the crystal clear headlights, picked mine up for £150 - they do make a difference Just looking for the foglights to match now

Howdy Folks - I've just changed the front lights on my red 98 to clears too - are the sidelights the same on the later model as the 98 ones ? - I'm pretty sure they are....

Need to get the skirts and bumper colour coded (and mirrors) and some decent alloys (going to look tomorrow)

Maybe 22B vents.....
