Which route do i take in getting a Sti 5 spoiler to replace the mid level one on my STi2

Route 1 - Take it to a garage like Townend garage in Carnforth up north, leave it with them and pick it up later all done and dusted, i think you are looking at about £300-£350 all in.

Route 2 - Buy one , seen some on ebay for £175, get a body shop to prep it, paint it and fit it, not sure how much that will cost, wont be cheap though.

I dont think there would be much difference in the overall price though.

Anyone used Townend garage for something like this, i know they have a good reputation for servicing and working on engines, but what about bodywork.

Cheers

have a haggle with the garage and get them to do it, it may be more expensive but if there is a problem u can go back to em.

the ebay 1, u could have it damaged in the post, then if you dont know a good sprayer u could end up with a poor spray job and finally u could have some greif fitting.

if u r like me and had enough of tinkering with the cars then I find paying some one else to do it all is far less hassle and greif.

just my opinion

This is what is on the ebay listing -->>

BRAND NEW SUBARU STi BOOT SPOILER WITH LED BRAKE LIGHT

FITS DIRECTLY TO BOOT LID, COMES READY TO SPRAY

EXCELLENT DESIGN, SAVE $$$$$$$ ON RETAIL!!!!

PLENTY IN STOCK FOR FAST DELIVERY.

I sent them an email over a week ago now, still no reply

Seems a bit daft, putting items on ebay and then not answering prospective buyers questions

The replica STi 5 spoilers, the bigger ones are the same price, but you get more spoiler

Have the dealers in the south just suddenly got a lot of these spoilers, has though there was a shipwreck off the coast

Sorry, us northern boys, dont know much about southern geography, so cant tell you which coast
