Carbon Radiator Splitter
What do you guys think of this. Its a carbon radiator splitter and is only avaliable for the 2002+ models. Im waiting for them to come out for the GC8 model so i can get one
They normally retail at £110 + delivery. At the moment, they are £85 + delivery (£10)
Insulates radiator from the intense heat generated in the engine bay

Might be reasonable for a sheet of carbon, but who the ****'s gonna see it. Don't think your cars are that sensitive to weight
If looks are your thing and you like showing off the engine bay, then go for it. Maybe I'm just a tight northern monkey Either that or you lot like throwing money away. Give me £85 and I'll knock one up out of carboard
BTW, Cusco do an ally one.

lol at Ozzy!
I like them and im getting one for the classic when they come out. Just looks something different, right infront of you, and its carbon. Everyone loves carbon.
Pics hopefully this week as a mate bought one
Apparently few been sold already. Maybe you should make them Ozzy and sell them and make some money

Nah, don't have the heart to make sooooo much money from such little material
You'll be after a carbon battery cover, carbon air box, carbon fuse box next and carbon underpants next
Stefan
P.S. OK, so I made the last one up

Money,
If you could borrow an alloy one for a classic, i know someone who could make the carbon versions for us and maybe a few more to sell
Carbon is all bling bling

Some air flow is lost around the radiator. Theses covers are supposed to force the air into the rad by preventing escape over the top of the rad and making it run cooler.
Just how much difference (if any) they make is debateable and I've never seen any before and after temps.
So, that's why I suggested making a cheap one yourself before (potentially) wasting money on a bit of carbon that's doing sod all except looking great in a closed bonnet
This ones $54, but for 2002+ models only.
Is it snakeoil or not?

Why waste your money on a scoob that is common as muck now instead of getting something else. lol
To be honest, i dont think ive seen people with it on over here and maybe it wont pick up as it has in US or Japan. I just think it looks great in carbon and im getting it for my classic when one is ready
Shiny is nice, but is very boring now - carbon is the new in thing. you see everyone with nice shiny water bottles or nice shiny battery covers but how many do you see thats carbon
Just something different
