Default Meguiars - Help needed

Hi all,

Bought the Deep Crystal 3 step kit and some scratch X from Meguiars, and put them all to good use at the weekend. Very pleased with the results, but...............

Just been out to the car, and a nearby tree has dumped loads of little specs of sap ? or some other sh*t all over my car

Anyhoo, Meguiars recommend using some detail stuff between polishes - which I don't have. Can I just clean it with normal car wash ? And what's an easy way of removing all this tree poop ?!?

Ta

Provided you don't let the sap bake on too much then it should just come off with a wash, especially if you have a decent layer of wax on the car already. Wouldn't leave it for too long before washing though, and don't park under trees unless unavoidable

Cheers mate, don't worry - it's the first thing I'll do when I get home, I just wondered about the Meguiars.

Bl00dy typical though , some bird has shat on me boot aswell - not taking her out again (Old ones always the best )

Cheers

I use the whole range and the Meguiars shampoo is great. It's bright pink but can't remember what it's called. My car was "lime tree'd" on the other day and a nice hot wash with the Meguiars shampoo brought it all off.

You'll have no problems shifting it

for inbetween washes, i use meguiars quick detailer, spray on wipe off. Very good at removing insects/ bird poo/ tree sap etc.
Strangely also smells like marzipan!
