Halfords do a Folia tec kit £20 Especially for it,
in red green yellow blue gold and black. its easy to do and looks great when done
The lettering I did by hand using some white enamel radiator paint for the heat restistance.
Unfortuatly only pic I have is this one not the best im affraid.

looks like a good job there mate, but are sure you didn't paint your pads looking at the front of your motor?
was thinking of a gunmetal colour with silver writing - would hammerite be suitable?

LOL Red stuff pads not good for a quick trip to the shops, not enough time to warm em up, still the focus stopped me nice and safely
Hamerite should be fine, but get heat proof as the calipers do get hot.
Have a look through these threads as theres loads of pics and info in em http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/search.php?searchid=104307

Mine are red and I used Folia Tec - good stuff. Brake cleaner best thing to clean calipers with. I also painted the rusting hubs with black hammerite and it looks much better

i cleaned the callipers with meths/brush to get off dust etc.
£3.99 tin of engine lacquer, some red smoothrite for the lettering (painted an even amount to a piece of wood and pressed it on the lettering)
piece of pi55 and it still looks as good now (over a year on) as the day i did it

you just remove the wheel AFAIK, and paint the front half of the caliper, don't think anymore is necessary really but be interested in the thoughts of those who have already done it.

I wouldn't disassemble the caliper - no point as no-one will see it and you're opening yourself up for all sorts of possible problems

ive just done mine this week.....took the wheel on and used hammerite with a brush (the spray is useless due to its consistency....
I have pics of the finished article, although i have to say that redrawing the subaru logo on was a bit of a bitch.....i actually ended up painting the back of a ruler and stamping it on......then touching it up with a brush and a spatchuler.
Neil.
