plastic door protection strip removal
hi all
i have recently purchased a scooby sport and have got the plastic protection strips down the doors! i personally hate these and want them off me car!
i was just wondering if anyone has removed these of their own car before and if it was an easy job? they do appear to be stuck on with glue but i cant be sure??
any help would be great cheers

I wouldnt say it was easy as i ended up with blisters for a couple of days.
Heat the end of the strip with a hair dryer and slowly pull the strip away from the door. Keep heating as you pull it away and just work your way along. Mines left some of the glue on the door which i rubbed of with my thumb and then polished the door.
Somebody else might have an easier method.

On a classis, i'll think you'll find that there will be holes left in the bodywork after you remove them. I know for sure that when i was looking to buy a new front wing that they came with with or without holes for moldings
