rear side window surround
Not sure what exactly you call it but its the black coloured surround on the rear side windows.
There's silver showing through as if the black is coming off.
I belive this is quite common on impreza's???
Just wondering whats best to get them to look normal/black again, black spray paint maybe?
If nobody has any idea what im on about i can post a pic up later.

Just thinking about posting this up myself so I guess it must be common. I know exactly what you mean mine are the same. I was thinking about taking them off to paint but need to use the car and the windows wont seal properly without the trim. Last week I tried to cover them with part of a black vinyl sunstrip and it would of looked ok but I couldnt get the vinyl to stick properly in the 'V' section on the trim so back to sqaure one!

Dont know if people just dont understand what i mean or dont know how to sort it
Think the best option might be to spraypaint it but then i'd have to do the whole surround otherwise it would look odd. Might be the only way tho.

I painted mine in situ when i resprayed my95, used 2 coats of 2k filler primer and 4 coats of Acrylic saturn black, out of a spray can beleive it or not...came up perfect!
Just make sure you key them properly 240 grit for the primer then 800 grit for the colour..And spend plenty of time masking up..
