Default sti fog covers on a wrx

got a wrx though trying my best it seems to disguise it as an STI lol. last bits are the fog light covers which i should recieve on thursday.

the guy at subaru says i need to remove the fogs and maybe the bumper?!?
surely not?

i thought they just clipped in? do i have to remove the fog surrounds? if so how is this achieved?

cheers

Probably different but on MY06 is was simply a case of unclipping the old surround and clipping in the new ones. Hardest bit was peeling off the STI stickers on them.........................

Simple.......using something that won't damage your paint or bumper prise out the original fit foglight surrounds. These have a few plastic prongs on them. Then just clip the new covers in the holes left. If you wait until your covers arrive then you'll see exactly where the prongs are located.
No need at all to do anything else.
