Default REPAIRING CARBON FIBRE

Is there anywhere that repairs carbon fibre, my front splitter is cracked and needs reapairing.

Whats a bit of west My splitter has a laquer finish to it.

My mate repairs carbon fishing poles. Unless you cover the entire splitter again, you will see the repair, however the repair on its own will be very strong. If you are looking for a good cosmetic finish then you will need to cover the whole spliitter.

Theres no damage to the carbon fibre just the laquer is chipped and cracked.

Just flat it back and relaquer, should be good as new.

I thought about that, but wont it make the flatted laquer cloudy. OFFS i hav'nt a clue. Any experts or bodyshop people here.

No, you allways have to flat laquer back even after the final coat. Try 800 grade first then when the chips are out switch to 1200 grade. When you spray the new laquer on flat it back with 1200 grade between each coat. Then a final polish with cutting paste or similar, then wax. This is what I do anyway, probably make anyone in the trade cringe but it works for me.
