Default De-Tangoing my car

Ok so I've seen a lot of folk on here have their lights de-tango'd. I'm just wondering how you go about it? Does anyone know of anywhere in the Glasgow area that does it?

I can't decide whether to go for a set of morettes or just get my lights de-tango'd and get an HID conversion. Any suggestions or advice would be cool.

Ta

Ok cheers for that. I'm a bit wary of doing it myself and fooking it up though. I hate fiddly little jobs...comes down to a lack of patience me thinks. I'll give it a go though.

you'll be fine, just make sure you get some silicon sealant to make sure you can seal up any gaps afterwards. I used some outdoor stuff from homebase.

10 mins at 100 degrees in the oven

Nice one cheers for the advice dude. I think the most fiddly bit will be getting the buggers in/out of the car.

the first one is, just take it slow, wiggle it about a bit and it will come out.

I found the most fiddly bit was disconnecting the wiring looms from the back of the units, esp the drivers side as there is the airfilter and feed taking up most of the room !

Just outta curiosity where did you lay your mitts on those?

I'm still not sure what setup I want to go with. The HID/de-tango'd route or hang on and try and aquire me some Morettes.

Hey mate im in glasgow and did them
Really easy to do
Just remove the two colour code bits at the end of each side of grill
clip off grill
unscrew and remove headlights
user a hair dryer ,evenly spreading heat round joins for about 20 mins each
pull apart and then use a thin screw driver to burst the orange bit and remove through bulb holes.
User hair dryer again to rebond joins on lights
Re screw in lights
Reattach grill
re attach colour coded side bits at end of grill each side
view my scooby
2 hour job
