Default Painted Wing Stiffies

I have an STi spoiler with two Perrin wing stiffis which I am having painted and fitted to my '04 blue blobeye wrx next week.

Has anyone had their Perrin stiffi's painted? I can only seem to find pictures of black standard ones.

I'm leaning towards having them painted but would like to see pictures if possible to ensure I'm making the right decision!

Hoping you can help.

I see your point with the top roof spoiler.

Still undecided at the moment!

They came with the spoiler when I brought it from a forum member, Stu.

Not sure where they were from or how much, sorry.

I have 3 of these fitted to my STi rear spoiler as fitted to my Hawkeye WRX, I was going to have them painted but decided against it.

Now that I have changed the colour of my wheels to dark gunmetal it gives a good contrast against the blue spoiler and I will be fitting a genuine roof spoiler shortly which again will have the end caps painted blue but the blade will remain black.

And these are before I had the wheels repainted and refurbed.

I bought mine from the USA as even with carriage & import tax they still worked out cheaper than in this country. If you want to get them this side of the pond try TSL.

TSL MOTORSPORT | Subaru Saab Mitsubishi | parts | repair | servicing | performance tuning | UK

as per the link above.

Thanks for the picture Hammer man. I think I prefer them black with only 2 stiffies fitted. However, if I were to buy two more....

Not seen many with 3 fitted Cannon fodder, but i'm liking your look very much! Would like to see it with the top spoiler fitted. Will look mint I reckon!

I had them from here and they are $49 plus shipping, depending on the exchange rate it might just be cheaper by the time you add the import duty to buy them from TSL, when I bought mine I saved about £40 when everything was included but having said that the exchange rate was £1 - $2.

Perrin STI Wing STIFFI (WRX/STi) - Modern Automotive Performance

Just my opinion but 3 looks more balanced than 2 as the gaps are too big and I think they look better unpainted. One of the members of SWS has 5 in his STi spoiler if you want to go for the fully WRC spoiler look.

Thanks for the comments, well the end caps are painted, just waiting for a chance to get the spoiler fitted by another member of SWS when I can collar him at the next meet.

I am looking forward to seeing the roof spoiler on as I have had it for a while and think it will really change the look of the car.
