Breaking the clips = easy
Without breaking them = not as easy, but not hard.

IIRC, couple of bolts under the car, and one in the wheel arch. The rest of the clips pull off, but they break fairly easy. So either have some on standby, or just don't go too mad.

I'd get them off, then order in some new clips from a dealer, around 50p each, and some stainless roofing bolts which are a match for the old rusty bolts.
