Default Replacing rear bumper - respray question.

So I had a bit of a reversing 'incident' in the Mistress

The rear bumper needs replacing.

My question is, the car is Obsidian Black - is there any problem/issue with getting a white bumper and having it resprayed?

Or is there a cheaper option. No black bumpers at breakers at the moment

Thanks,

m

Is it IRREPERABLY damaged? It MIGHT be a cheaper option to have it plastic welded and then resprayed.

Black over white ought not to be a problem if it's done properly

It's a heck of a dent. About the size of two footballs, on the corner, pushed inby maybe 3-4 inches with a very tight bend on the top half.

No idea what this should cost from a dealer, but guessing that buying an incorrect colour from a breakers/ebay will still be cheaper than getting the correct colour from Subaru.
