Guys does anyone know how to remove these without damage? Didn't want to just prise them off only to find a clip I should have undone! The only obvious ways I can see to access the back of it is either headlight removal or wheel arch liners?

I used an old library card, slipped it under from below and prised it off. The card releases a spring clip attached to the back of the marker. Hope this helps.
