Hi All, After been mightily impressed with my mates Bugeye wrx and generally being a scooby fan for ages, iv been patiently waiting for my good lady to have enough NCB to be able to justify one as a 2nd car for her to run daily without costing a fortune on insurance..That times come.
Now heres the thing, just to make sure I wasnt being a bit giddy, (I found a 2001 Y reg 2.0 GX in mica red with 1 owner and 40k miles on with a load of Subaru history.While surfing the tinterweb)..Thought it would be a good idea to make sure she would like a scooby 1st. So bought the car mentioned above,With the pretense of running it for a while before spending a load of cash on a turbo.
Now I like the wrx/sti styling..so.(you know whats coming)
Do I ?
A; KEEP IT COMPLETELY STANDARD AND MINT or
B; MAKE A VERY NICE REPLICA WRX/STI?
Im edging towards A, but maybe de tango front end and put some 17s on??
Opinions welcome..

I know its a gx..as I said in the op.I purposely bought it so I didn't spend a good few more grand on a turbo just for my other half to say she doesn't like em as the other cars she's had are physically smaller.(RS172/182 and Ibiza fr)..but the question I asked is..do I leave it as is ? Do some subtle upgrades? Or go for a wrx/sti rep?

Who wouldn't like a Subaru lol,I'd save your money mate no point spending £££s on a GX IMO

Well the idea is to make sure she's happy with it and then go turbo..just wasn't too sure if it'd be more saleable standard/subtly upgraded or rep..
