2006 WRX 2.5 Wagon
Hi all,
Time to move away from the Subaru scene. As most will know on here Ive had 28 Scoobs in the last 8 years, I love the make and the reliability, but as I fast approach my 50th birthday I feel the time to move on to more sensible vehicles is on the cards.
I bought the car 6 months ago from JCT cars in Rotherham, anyone who has ever dealt with Jason will know he is one of the most trustworthy dealers I have ever had the pleasure to do business with, and this Advert aside, if your thinking of buying from him, then do with complete peace of mind. Ok so the details of the car then.
Drive train
is standard apaprt for Prodrive lowering springs, 30mm front 25mm rear, the rear shock have also been modified so you will never get the rattle which this model normally gets.
Wheels and tyres
as you will see I have purchased a set of RB320 Prodrive wheels for it, I bought these from Scoobyclinic in December at £450 with Falken tyres, there is enough rubber on them for another 5k miles I would say but would probably need 2 rebooting for the mot.
Engine
is completeley standard, never been messed with or touched, pressure test proves all cylinders are spot on and runs as sweet as a nut, the car doesnt miss a beat, Ive just had the aircon re-gassed for this weather so its Ice Cold.
Ive added a decat centre and vortex afterburner angled backbox, not too noisy but a lovely burble on full chat.
Ive also added a set of Mudflaps in black, not for the rally look, but merely to keep the car as clan as possible, and they do a great job. The rear windows have also been blacked and are in perfect condition.
Service history
15/01/07 1801m Main dealer service
26/10/07 10709m Main dealer service
23/07/08 20392 Arnold Clarke service
25/06/09 29225 Main dealer service
20/5/10 36239 Calder Motors service (belt done)
07/04/11 46208 Douglas Scott service
02/05/12 57183 Douglas Scott service
10/05/13 64098 JCT New clutch
20/03/14 68000 Jct Cars, New discs and pads alround.
I have just taxed the car so its good until 31/12/14, Mot is until January 2014.
there arnt many around now a days with good history and this mileage, most go on ebay for about £5400, so this is where I take my guidance from, please dont bombard this advert with Parkers valuations and what YOU think the car is worth.
Its a lovely thing, with hardly a mark on it, there are obviuosly your usual little stone chips and a little laquar on the nose, but it realy is immaculate, and having had 28, this is quite a good one.
Your more than welcome to come take it out, ill even sit in the passengers seat, im not the tyoe of guy to say, "Oh ill drive and show you what its like" I always like to drive a car myself. No time wasters please and no trade buyers trying to take it for £3500, not happnin im afraid.
The car is priced to sell at £5100 OVNO
Please pm me or text 07823 332880.

Got a buyer waiting to see if its big enough for his needs. But if it doesnt go to chris. I have to let it go for £4500. And thats an absolute bargain for a car in this condition. I need the deposit for my new audi.

I went to see this car yesterday and drove it. I came away determined to make a decision within 24 hours but by the time I had got home I had decided I was buying it ... the only caveat was my trade show stand and products had to fit in the back.
Today a friend of a friend brought her wagon to my house and we tried to get my stuff in it, but sadly the load space is just that bit smaller than my V40.... to say I am gutted is an understatement.
So I have had to pass on it, but I would implore anyone who wants a tidy WRX wagon to snap this up. The car is pretty much immaculate ... one tiny mark on the front bumper, but that's it... bodywork is otherwise showroom and for a 8 year old car that is amazing.
The car looks the part with the black wheels, has new brakes , all service history and drives beautifully. It's an absolute bargain for someone and I am very sad it isn't going to be me!
Don't hang around if you are thinking of buying one as this one is a steal!

£4200 this has got to go, it will be on a forecouret for £5200 ive been told. Im not making anything on this, I just dont want a trader to sell it at full market value and make loads on it, so come get it. Ask f1 Fan how good it is

Interested in this, but the wife would kill me. I'm currently fixing up a slightly tatty blobeye, and I'm trying to convince her this would actually be cheaper in the long run.
I'd need to buy it unseen though, and get it transported down here, as I'm in Bristol. Could you PM me your postcode so I can get a quote via shiply?

I'm not offering daft money, I just can't justify spending more than £4000 on a car that before yesterday I didn't want, and don't really need!
Plus the fact it is going to cost me another £250 to get it to me.

Thought about this, and could go to asking price. Car has outstanding finance though, which seller says they will pay off when the money is handed over. Anybody got any thoughts on that?

FfS ive been as honest as i can with you. Do you really think i would risk my 8 year reputation on here and my job for no profit. The dealer is offering 4200 and will sell the car for 5200 on the forecourt. Im offering the car for what the dealer will pay. The dealer will pay me the money and j pay the finance. Exactly the same as if you pay me. This is getting me down now. Im only trying to sell it to you at a give away price. Im making no money here. FfS
