Subaru Impreza STI 2005 Widetrack DCCD

Subaru Impreza STI 2005 Widetrack DCCD
I’ve had this car for over 4 years and it has been a joy to own, It has been my 2nd/weekend car for over 3 years now but I just can’t justify keeping it any longer as I need to free the money as I’m building a house.
It’s done everything so well I’ve just not wanted to part with it, It took me a while to find this car when I was looking as I wanted a well looked after widetrack for the DCCD and the last of the stronger 2.0 engines so I didn't have to worry about the weak engine issues and inevitable expensive rebuild I’d have to have with a later 2.5 hawkeye. I also wanted a UK car as I’ve owned imports in the past and it just makes things easier and cheaper to have a UK car at the end of the day. In my ownership the car has been perfect, the only issue I’ve had is a flat battery (replaced with top of the range bosch) and a chip in the windscreen (again only just replaced)! I’ve been over to Germany in it and wouldn't hesitate to just jump in and drive there again given how reliable it’s been.
Main points are:
• UK Car
• 2005 ‘05’ plate
• Cheaper £280 a year tax
• 80,000 Miles
• 2.0 Engine
• 320 BHP
• 6 speed Gearbox
• DCCD with fully auto mode
• Better interior than the earlier blobeye cars
• Climate control
• Water spray function for the intercooler
• Crystal Grey in colour
• MOT till February 2016 – no advisories
• 3 former keepers
• Front tyres Bridgestone RE050A with good tread remaining
• Rear tyres Bridgestone S001 with good tread remaining
• Just had a brand new windscreen fitted due to a crack in the old one.
The car has a big service history folder full of receipts, invoices, past MOT’s etc. It has a full service history and has been serviced regularly by myself in my ownership always using the best parts & fluids long before anything was officially due.
Modifications from standard are:
• BC Racing BR fully adjustable coilovers with rubber rear mounts & adjustment extenders
• Prosport gauges in centre dash pod which light up either green or white (Oil pressure, Oil temperature & Boost pressure in BAR) Done properly using the plug above cylinder #3 for oil temp & stock oil pressure location, no sandwich plates here!
• ProR panel filter
• Godspeed grooved brake discs all round with almost no wear
• Carbone Lorraine CL5+ front brake pads almost as new
• EBC Orangestuff rear pads almost as new
• Stainless steel braided brake hoses
• Remap by GroupB Motorsport
• 2.5” stainless steel catback exhaust
• HRC 255lph fuel pump
• Witter detachable swan neck towbar (only ever towed a small motorbike trailer)
As the car is almost 10 years old it’s not completely perfect cosmetically, it has a few stone chips on the front and a couple of small dings, one on the front wing and one on the driver’s door and some small scratches on the bumpers.
Car is located near Conwy in North Wales
£8250
