Another WR1 for Sale
With regret I am having to put my WR1 No.72 up for sale – I promised myself I would never sell however with the vehicle not getting used as often as I would like I just cannot justify keeping the vehicle any longer.
I acquired the vehicle on the 19 -10 -12 from a private seller in South Wales.
The current mileage is just shy of 53,000 miles.
At first I used this as my daily car up till Christmas 2013 when I bought a second car to travel to and from work as I was always conscious about keeping the mileage down.
Last year 2014 -2015 I have roughly only put around 3,000 miles on the clock, and this year so far again I have roughly again only put around 400miles on the clock so this is why it’s having to go.
Service History:
Subaru Dealer – 1011, 3077, 3587, 7120, 9522, 11119, 13222, 16653, 20075, 24509:
Richard Henrys Service – 35409, 40326, 44853, 50082
Completely standard when I bought it. The vehicle still has the Original headunit both keys, tax disc, floor mats and key ring.
So what has the vehicle had done to it?
In my ownership it has been serviced by Richard Henrys in Bradford (again search the forum and you’ll see this has to be one of the most reputable garages for Subaru’s, cannot recommend them enough).
The vehicle has had a TSL Group N back box fitted with new centre section complete with Remap by Andy Carr. The vehicle does have a switch for anti-lag and launch control.
The above is the only modification with front and rear strut brace & prodrive battery clamp and wind deflectors.
As you can see from the pictures it’s been kept clean as possible – There are stone chips on the front end not going to lie. It’s also got a paint work crack on the top of the rear bumper by the key lock probably caused by my set of keys and there is a tiny carpark dint to the passenger side door. Unnoticeable unless shown. Just thought I would mention these as I wouldn’t want someone travelling afar to have a look and expect the car to be in showroom condition – I’ve done my up most to keep it in that condition as I do attend the shows ect and if I still have the car for mid-June I will be going to NBO. (I’ll probably go even if I don’t have a Scooby)
It does come with a car cover as well (not your basic Halfords one but a made to fit breathable custom made one) & the front spilter is no longer on the vehicle.
I hope I have answered everything – I am disappointed to be selling the vehicle I have had many good memories with the car and met some great people from the Subaru Scene.
If you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask and I’ll do my best to answer. If you want anymore photos again, just ask.
The MOT runs out on the 10.10.15 & I am the fifth owner of the vehicle.
I have it priced at 10k – which I believe is a fair price.
The car is located in Leeds – Just need some notice prior to visiting as it will be in storage.
Also, thought I would advertise here before anywhere else ie Pistonheads, Autotrader and the likes.
The original plate is back on the vehicle now as well so ready to go.
Thanks Simon

The belt was changed at 40000 miles, carried out by Richard Henry's (does also show that in service booklet photo?) As for the clutch now I've not had it changed in the time in my ownership although if the vehicle is on a ramp there are signs that it has (been told) but no invoice of this work been shown so can't comment.
Let me know when you'll try pop over need 24 hours notice to get it out of storage.
Thanks
Simon.

Congrats on sale!
I dont blame you
To many members on this forum that are full of sh**t and offer stupid money for a good car and then start crying when a trader buys it.

To be fair it was up for sale for 7 full days before the trader purchase so plenty of opportunity for sb members to commit before then, it was a fair price so not surprised it went fairly quick
