Default MY05 Widetrack STI, FSH, LOW MILES

SOLD SOLD SOLD

Just putting the feelers out for my car...

For Sale, MY05 Impreza WRX STI, UK Widetrack, only 42k miles. FSH.

Well reluctantly I'm putting my UK Widetrack up for sale due to needing something to get around in on a daily basis and throw the mountain bikes in the back on the weekends.

I have owned the car for nearly a year now and bought it off a fellow enthusiast who had taken great care of it. It had spent most of its time in a garage and only used at weekends in the dry. The previous owner had spent lots on servicing and sensible upgrades, mostly to improve handling.

Whilst in my ownership I have kept the car as it was and only added a full, new 3" Cobra track friendly decat system and had it mapped to suite. It previously ran a Prodrive system as part of the PPP. It now puts out a nice 320/320, and have dyno printouts.

My main use of the car was for trackdays, but have only managed to do 2 in the time I have had it due to my job requiring me to work away about 70% of the year, it performed faultlessly. So most of the time it has been kept on my secure drive under a new tailored all weather car cover which I brought when I first got the car. Washed and dried every weekend when home also.

Servicing carried out in my ownership includes an oil and filter change directly after my first trackday, using Millers Nano tech which was at roughly 39k miles and its now just over 42k miles so you can see it won't require another for a while yet. The car had 38k on it when I bought it.

Spec.

Engine,

2.0 SCDB with AVCS
VF35
Pro-R performance panel air filter
3" Cobra Sport Trackday Friendly Decat exhaust system, new
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Open Source remap to 320/320
TMIC water spray system

Handling,

Factory DCCD adjustable differential control
BC BR Series adjustable Coilovers with rear extenders
Solid drop links
CDF front and rear anti roll bars, 22/24mm
Whiteline bump steer kit
Anti lift kit
Yokohama Advan AD08 R tires
Performance pads and discs, EBC grooved discs & EBC pads
Braided lines

Exterior,

Factory STI Widetrack body
HT Autos STI front splitter
RCM WRC Multi Vane rear spoiler, rare and cost nearly 2k when new
STI Widetrack Alloys, recently refurbed and coloured gun metal
Tegwia rear billet tow hook, red

Interior,

Factory STI blue/black seats, carpet and door cards, no obvious marks, looks great
Factory head unit radio/tape player
AC
Electric adjustable wing mirrors

Cambelt done at 31k miles, paperwork to backup.

£1000's in receipts for servicing and performance parts.

I have a full wallet of service history and 2 keys for the car. The car is currently sat on just over 41k miles which may go up slightly if we have an good weather between now and the sale.

Private plate, P444 WRC.

Bad bits,

As with all cars there are one or two. Firstly the front bumper has the familiar signs of stone chips. I've been quoted £550 for a front end respray and blend in to the wings but it's never bothered me enough to warrant it.
The only other annoying point is I swapped the passengers rear door over for another off another Widetrack due to mine suffering a hit from a gate in the wind. The replacement door was perfect other than a very small chip. I still have the original door for proof. Again it's not something that's overly bother me as its so small, just being as honest as possible.

Car is in Derbyshire not far from the M1.

No tyre kickers, test pilots. I will conduct all test drives.

This really is a fantastic car which will be missed but needs must, plus we are expecting our first child mid way through this year.

No swaps.

Price on forum, Offers over £10,500

Thanks chaps.

I realise the spoiler is a marmite love/hate topic but you can remove it easily and pick up a replacement OEM job from most breakers on here.

Just to save copy offers, I've had 10k and 10.5k offered but rejected.

Needs to be nearer the listed price of £10,995.

Thanks.

A quick wash and dry today as the sun made a brief appearance, comes up nicely. I do have a polish buffer but with the weather being so changeable I didn't want to risk starting for it to rain. Still happy with it.

Also pictured is the new hood gas struts and a closer look at the rear spoiler for those who asked for it.

Thanks.

It is a good offer but its worth more to me. I'm happy to tuck it away and wait for the right buyer.

Looks like a good one,

I am currently in the market for a Widetrack, Not a massive fan of the rear spoiler but other than that it ticks all the right boxes!

Good luck with the sale.

It's not hard to change back to the OEM spoiler, plenty of breakers in here selling them.

I think member ZANY would bite your arm off for the current one if you were to sell on also.

If that still puts you off then good luck with your search.

A few questions that keep coming up,

It's has 5 previous owners.

MOT due on the 5th of March 2016. No previous advisories on any previous tests.

Under the car is in good condition.

The boot area is clean, under the carpet also all good.

Today I fitted a new set of superpro polybushes to the rear anti roll bar, I got given them for Xmas I thought it was about time there got fitted.

Thanks.
