After many many years of owning this car, it is time to hand it over to someone else to enjoy - I just don't get the opportunity to drive it any more
It's very difficult to value such a custom build, but let's start with me asking £15k, but I will listen to all sensible and serious offers
And now reduced to £13k

- MY05 JDM STi (widetrack) with, for example:
- Rear wiper (rear washer currently disconnected)
- HID lights
- Twinscroll
- DCCD-A
- Titanium front strut brace
- 101k miles. Engine built at 54k miles, then refreshed with new bearings and uprated 14mm headstuds at 76.5k miles. So current engine is 25k miles old
- 525bhp/525ft lb with 10% meth @ 1.7bar. Around 480bhp at 1.6bar on Vpower.
- Was a Litchfield imported car, I’m the second owner (bought at 17k miles/18 months old). Was allowed to be called a Type 20 once Milltek exhaust added and remapped…but isn’t that anymore!
- Forged 2.5l engine, built by Subaru4You, spec as follows
- Brand new 2.5 block and crank
- Mahle pistons
- Manley rods
- 14mm headstuds
- Cosworth “stopper” headgaskets
- Spec C inlet manifold (these have no TGVs) (painted black)
- JDM Spec C heads (brand new when engine built) rechambered to suit the 2.5L block, and lightly ported. Spec C cams.
- Litchfield LM480 twin entry turbo, upgraded to LM500 spec with billet wheel
- Milltek twinscroll decat 3” exhaust
- OEM twinscroll headers, wrapped by the late great Harvey (but does need to be re-done). Every runner has an EGT boss welded in, with 2 EGT sensors fitted (only one wired to ECU as it only supports 1).
- Syvecs S6 ECU
- launch control
- antilag
- flat foot shifting
- Toucan gauge/CAL switch unit
- Oil temp, oil pressure, fuel pressure, EGT and air charge temp sensors wired to Syvecs and displaying on Toucan.
- NTK wideband lambda sensor
- Flex fuel sensor allowing methanol to be added with any mix up to around 15%
- RCM “track attack” return-to-sump catch can
- RCM intake trumpet with K&N cone filter. Cold air feed from offside foglight location.
- Aluminium intake pipe with no take-offs (welded closed and polished then painted)
- Hardrace engine mounts and pitch stopper
- Fuel system
- Walbro 255 in-tank lift pump
- Engine-bay mounted swirl pot with Bosch 044 pump (washer bottle relocated to boot)
- Torques Fuel Pressure Regulator
- Parallel fuel lines in braided hosing
- CDF Fuel Rail
- Asnu/EcuTek 800cc injectors
- APS DR725 front mount intercooler in black. Pipework painted crackle black. Murray constant tension clamps
- Helix twin plate clutch fitted at 83,000 miles (10/2011)
- 11.3 quarter mile at TOTB
- AST sportline coilovers, uprated front springs and the newer type progressive rear springs. Rears serviced March 2014 by IG Racing. Fronts refurbed and new 60nm springs and castor top mounts done in 2011 at approx. 80k miles
- Whiteline uprated anti-roll bars front and back, plus anti-lift kit. New roll bar bushes purchased but not yet fitted.
- Performance Friction front disks, Godspeed grooved rear, EBC Orange Stuff pads, braided brake hoses. Brembo calipers refurbed and painted black by Godspeed, all in 2012 at around 90k miles
- Cosmetic
- Scoop removed and replaced with Chargespeed louvre grille
- HT Autos PU front splitter (with a crack)
- A-line/Spec-D lip spoiler
- Zunsport lower grille
- Resprayed 3 years ago, retaining the original “obsidian black” but with much more flake added so it really “pops” in sunlight. Some scratches and marks as to be expected, but in very good condition. Has NEVER been through a car wash!
- Subaru 18x8.5” wheels from a 2008 Hatch STi, black, with 245/40x18 Dunlop SP Sport 600 tyres. 4mm tread all round. Kerbing on 2 of them, and some damage to other 2 but easily sorted.
- New radiator fitted last autumn, with new Viper top and bottom hoses.
- Aircon removed
- Toad Ai606 alarm
- Sound system
- Alpine CDA9833R Head Unit
- Dynaudio 240GT speakers front
- Genesis Profile amplifier
- Genesis Profile 69 6x9 subwoofer speakers on rear parcel shelf
- Regularly serviced by Subaru4You and, more recently, EngineTuner (apart from some oil changes which I’ve done). Due an oil change soon – happy to do this before sale. Most recent service May 2015, by EngineTuner, was:
- All oils (engine, gearbox, diff)
- Brake and clutch fluid
- Cambelt and tensioner
- New Iridium plugs
- Rolling road check after decat pipe refitted.
- Loads and loads of receipts and documentation for all the work done.
- MOT until September
- Tax is £290 per year
