Default MY99 (v5) WRX Type RA Limited

*** DEPOSIT TAKEN ***

MY99 (v5) WRX Type RA Limited in 074F Sonic Blue with 4 previous UK keepers, number 446 out of 1,000 Limited cars made.

The car was imported in November 2003. The first MoT is dated 20/09/03 and shows the car with 49,163 kms on the clock. An MPH speedo converter was fitted shortly after import. The current odometer reading is 108,400 which translates to 89,000 miles.

The paintwork and shell are in outstanding condition, with Bilt Hamber products applied in the usual areas and underseal by APi. The car has been garaged in my ownership and taken out on weekends and holidays only.

The car has a handful of subtle enhancements over OEM:

- Subaru 13:1 (2.25 turns) quick rack (sourced from a v6 STi RA; the original 15:1 (2.5 turns) rack will come with the car
- Bob Rawle EcuTek remap (500 miles ago)
- “Harvey Smith” up pipe
- 2-pot Subaru rear calipers
- HEL braided brake hoses
- Whiteline anti-lift kit
- RCM gearbox mount
- Camber bolts all round
- Scorpion exhaust with sports cat – gives a rorty but not intrusive boxer rumble
- Toad alarm with remote locking (two keys and fobs)

I have owned the car since Mar 2014, covering 8,000 miles since then. In my ownership the car has had:

- Gearbox rebuild with all-new synchros by APi (fifth-gear synchro had just started to crunch) – only 200 miles done since rebuild
- New HRC 255 fuel pump
- New front and rear discs with Carbone Lorraine RC5+ front and Pagid rear pads
- New cambelt
- New rocker cover gaskets
- New radiator
- New PFR7B plugs
- New gear linkage bushes, gear gaiter and gear kno
- New K+N panel filter
- Replacement clutch and skimmed flywheel
- Replacement knock sensor, power steering pump, boost solenoid
- 2x engine oil changes
- Gearbox and diff oil change
- Brake fluid change

A compression and leakdown test 1,000 miles ago show all cylinders in good condition. The car comes with your choice of either one of two sets of wheels:

1. OEM five-spoke wheels finished in gold with no kerbing, and Bridgestone Potenza RE002s all round.
2. Genuine RAYS TE37 finished in dark bronze in excellent condition with Federal 595RSR tyres.

The car comes with a thick folder of receipts including all previous MoTs and the Japanese export certificate. MoT until May 2017.

I’m looking for £5,999. The car bears the number plate xxx which will come with the sale.

It's a (non STi) WRX RA, with the RA low-ratio box but no DCCD.

Edit 3 Jul as I cannot reply to post: Car is sold - thanks all for the interest.
