10k! Are you not thinking of a JDM one though?

I thought this was around the going rate really!

Seen JDM Blobeyes up for 12.5k

Not that I would pay that,

Worth a try, can always lower the price.

This is priced realistically, 10k is JDM or higher UK spec territory without issues the issues listed, albeit these are an easy fix. Circa £150-£200 for clutch labour.

Good luck with the sale.

I agree with your part about realistically

But honestly have a look at some of the ones which have sold on those Facebook groups,

I've been shocked at a lot of the asking prices on there, to see them sell later although could be less

why do you consider that car a dog,its a prodrive edition with 77000 miles on and its in good condition,he may be pushing it with the price but i certainly wouldnt call it a dog, very nice blob by the way and good luck with the sale

No not a dog by any means.

Just an example of the high prices.

Should have been clearer when i posted that as it is actually a nice bugeye if a little expensive.

yip you are being realistic - but it's worth more especially with the goodies and you are not desperate to sell - if you can wait these motors get money....I know its a 2003 sti but it looks better (tho I personally wouldnt pay more than £7K for a blob)

buy a set of sti gold wheels for £150-200 throw them on and sell the pff7's for £650
get complete front brembo kit for £450 from matty and sell k-sports for £700 - those are £1k brakes

ask £8k for the car (sell, if pushed at £7.5k)

that is realistic given you are not in a hurry to sell - the prices have been going back up again in last year or so

(also maybe worth quoting the torque figure she made on dyno run)

Cheers for the comments. I thought it would be worth what i'm asking because its not standard, but at the same time, the mods that are done are all in good taste, and use branded parts.

Its got power sorted, handling and braking. The full package in my opinion! Ive been asked to drop the price a few times now but I don't think I need to budge

Just because he says he'd take 9k doesn't mean he'd ever get that for it

I recently sold a widetrack that had had a load of work done to it so that it was spot on, also had new heads which were fully rebuilt and cosworth gaskets, I got just shy of 9k, I had very few calls, advertised on ebay and pistonheads. Car was close to mint and on 89k miles with a load of goodies on it

Might be spot on but still got 89k that's high milage it my opinion. My blob sti has 47k. 42k less than yours so what would I be liking at then 10k

Depends on a lot of factors, yes 89k isn't low mileage, it had however had a lot of work done to it to ensure it was spot on. Is yours a widetrack? If it is then yes, if it's clean and properly looked after then yes, 10k is not an unrealistic figure, if it's not a widetrack than i'd put the value lower
