£8750 isn't bad at all, you can't compare it to a WRX, or even a 02-04 STI (without DCCD)

I am not and never was expecting it to sell immediately with regards to the current financial climate. In addition, trying to sell a car of this nature in/around the christmas period is never ideal, however as described in the advertisement, my personal circumstances have changed and the car now needs to go

Hi mate, see you are having a bit of difficulty selling your sub, have you considered maybe reverting as much of it as you can back to standard as it looks pretty beastly to me???
Selling the bits off to make cash back that way as well?
Also I agree with it being slightly overpriced, i'd say you were pricing alot of people out at £1000 more than most would be willing to part with but its your car and you can ask for what you want. GLWTS.

I do, however, suspect that it has more to do with selling it so soon after christmas and fuel/insurance prices etc that is making it difficult to sell. The engine is completely standard (bar the PPP) and the buyer could
easily revert the car back to standard if he/she wished.
I simply do not have the time to do it myself with a baby on the way and my work commitments as I believe you are right. It has flown through the MOT and has 6months tax plus I would be prepared to throw in some bits I have in my shed too the new buyer.
I would, for the record, take a low/mid mileage diesel (focus, golf, octavia) upto the value of £4K in part exchange if it is in full working order/good condition
