No mate I still have it and I'm fed up with people on eBay offering me a £500 fiesta and a half eaten packet of peanuts for it!
And might be up for a road trip!
And I will reply to your pm.

Okay no probs mate going to have to leave it regards an exchange for your vxr, lovely cars but to be perfectly honest be warned against them purely for the fact that a lot off them end up costing the owner loads in large repair bills , this advice was given by astra vxr owners themselves !! pity as I think your car looks great with an excellent spec.
but yep if you sell it please do have a trip up for a viewing, dont think you will be dissapointed !!

Okay pre ebay listing BTTT
again in my personal view the first serious viewer will buy this car, yep its slightly more expensive than some others but very low mileage, genuine full service history with every receipt from new and has the addition off some lovely additional extras fitted.
save me the ebay hassle- £5900 without plate.

Why don't you give Lichfields a call and see if they will sell it for you? My mate has just done that with his two year old GTR, they list it on their site and pistonheads. Good luck pal, Shaun

No probs mate appreciatte what you are saying but would deffinattly keep it rather than let it go for 5k, what mileage was on your 55 plate ?? you say 5.5k max, again I know I am asking at the upper level for a wrx blob but I feel sure that a genuine buyer will not mind paying just £500 extra for a lower mileage fsh model .. I know I would !!
p.s Up here in Fife, scotland so the Lichfields idea is not an option, to be perfectly honest just fancy a change but if it does not sell will be getting a remap within the next few months and enjoy the car even more !!
again appreciatte your input.

The only fault i know of with the vxr's is the tappets collapsing.
Other than that they're very good motors.

Okay no probs not really looking for a discussion on Astra vxr`s mate !! regards your quote "thats complete waffle tbh mate " I am only going what I have read on here , read on vxronline and a few other vauxhall related forums from vxr owners where a lot off owners have freely admitted the gearbox on the astra vxr amongst other things is a major weakness off this model but am aware that all cars have there probs including the impreza which did not put me off buying one I might add !! regards the 19" alloys being a comfortable ride thats exactly what I kept reading that was not recommended other than just for looks and that 18" were much better !! anyway again appreciatte your advice but would appreciatte if this for sale thread did not just turn into a large discussion !!

Have you put it on other enthusiast sites? Most people here probably own a scooby so are not looking but owners of other marques may be looking to change / upgrade.

To be honest mate I think the market is just so bad just now it boils down to pure luck when selling a scooby, for what they sell for there is actually very little you can buy in comparison.
will see how I get on with the ebay classifieds
