Its probably a minor fix. I can understand the frustration though. Good luck either way.

Yeah pretty frustrated with it, so someone could grab a steal if its a cheap fix. My patience has been tested!

Receiving alot of offers for the car, but not enough value. I think I could make more breaking the car.

I'm looking for £1500. And the car will need collecting as it is not starting up. I've disconn the new battery so it doesn't flat.

Message me if you want the car, and if you can pick up.

£1500 is a lot if the prospective buyer cant here the engine run - they are prone to fail if not properly mapped.

Update.

Got the car back. O2 sensor cables sordered and car seems to start up ok.
Idle is still high, and cold start is rough, but when warm it seems to drive ok.
There are still faults and I believe the following things should be reviewed:

Fueling issue, over fueling and smell of fuel on start up... Possibly needs a new fuel pump/regulator?
High idle... new ICV?
Boost... boost is at 0.5 bar, where as this car was mapped to 1.2>1.0 bar. I have print outs. New boost solenoid?
Rough idle when cold... ICV/new cold start sensor?

Before the short, NONE of these problems existed. The car was running beautifully and I really fell in love with the car. I want to keep the car and fix it up, but its my commuting car, and I need to get to work and back. Running two cars just isn't an option at the moment. I could actually use the Impreza to drive to work as it is, but I'd rather not while it's not running perfect.

I'll get a video up later of the car running. Still asking for £1500.

The car has to go. It's back up for sale. £1500 asking price.
The car IS RUNNING and can be driven home. It's got a boost/fuel cut issue when you go past 5-6k RPM. Drives perfectly without hard boost.
Idle is still high and a little rough. I have left the TAX on it, 5 months left, so can be driven straight home.

PM me.
