Default 450bhp forged classic, big spec!

After 6 years of ownership time has come to sell my Impreza. The only reason I'm selling is due to the fact that I'm buying a R32 GTR Skyline.

I bought the car standard six years ago as a UK Turbo 2000 and I have slowly modified it to the current spec of 451bhp / 420lbft. The car has done 124k but only 15k on the engine, box and suspension. The engine was built by Engine Tuner and was properly run in with all the correct grade oils, and has been run on Millers 10w60 oil ever since with changes every 3k. I have always warmed and cooled the car down properly and NEVER drived hard from cold. This car owes me 19k (including the original purchase price) and I will be very sad to see it go. The engine can easily cope with 550bhp if you wanted to take it further but it's a very quick road / track car as it it. I have the standard seats if buyer prefers. The car has 11 months MOT and one months Tax.

The only bad points are the nearside shocks need rebuilding but I can get this done if I get somewhere near the asking price, the nearside rear arch has started to bubble on the back lip and there's the usual stone chips on the front bumper and bonnet. I have been quoted £650 to get the rear arch and bonnet/bumper resprayed by a reputable bodywork specialist

I am after offers in the region of £8k and please no timewasters. Viewings welcome, 07795066905

Jay - Time for a change. I've always wanted one and I'm pretty set on a R32 GTR. You could always put the engine and box into your RB5, make use of the brakes

Thanks for the comments guys I know it would fetch more in a type r but I don't want to spend the time transferring the bits over or breaking it if I can help it. I'd rather see it go as a complete car. I'm in no rush to sell, it'll be coming off the road at the end of September for winter anyway.

That is tastefully modded and looks the part in green which is normally my least favourite colour on a scoob!

What a beauty
Off topic, but what tube/pipe have you used to replace the MAF pipe? And where did you get it from? Cheers

The car now runs maffless as it on the new simtek (not shown in the pics) but the inlet is a st/st custom pipe made by Engine Tuner. It's got a 3" silicone reducer to go onto the turbo and no take offs as I run a catch tank.

She certainly is a nice car with a great spec, the motor sounds lovely as well.
I am also the one who quoted on the bodywork required to make it A1 although it's only a whisker away any how!

Lot of car for the money. Peeps who want a fast classic will be way better off buying one already built rather than build it up themselves

Anybody's welcome to come and see it and I still have the standard seats if the current ones put anybody off. Ryan I just wanted to be honest, it's what I'd do if I was going to keep it.

TX, I'd love to keep it as we'll as my recent GTR but the money will be for a house deposit. That's the only reason I'm selling it. I know how much it cost me to build and how much time has gone into it so it will be missed a huge amount.
