2005 Widetrack Blob STI DCCD - 39k miles
Hi Guys.
A P1 has come up for sale very close to me and fits the bill and as it's a car i've always wanted to own but couldn't find a good one at the time I'm now going to try and sell my immacualte Blob STI to fund the purchase.
I bought the car off a forum member a few months back so you can probably find the original ad.
The car in my eyes is immaculate. When I bought it it had a scratch on the bonnet with a slight dent as was shown in the original ad. I had that rectified by having the bonnet properly sprayed which cost me a lot as I wanted a top job.
Only problem i've had with the car is the Idle Control Valve started playing up so I replaced that after it was diagnosed as faulty by Dave Coe in Swansea.
Spec:
2005MY Impreza STI Type UK with DCCD in Crystal Grey
Prodrive Performance Pack with registration certificate
Prodrive PFF7 18" Alloy Wheels
Milltek Back box
HT Autos front Splitter
Currently sits at around 39400 miles
Car has had 5 owners with a full and comprehensive service history as follows:
Supplying dealer = Holdcroft Subaru Widness (1st owner)
1,000 Service - 23/05/05 @ 1017 miles - Holdcroft Subaru
10k/12 Months - 25/04/06 @ 5249 miles - Holdcroft Subaru
20k/24 Months - 09/03/07 @ 9815 miles - Christopher Neil Subaru
30k/36 Months - 28/03/08 @ 17746 miles - Christopher Neil Subaru
40k/48 Months - 28/04/09 @ 21456 miles - Garage Services Liverpool Subaru Specilaist
50k/60 Months - 13/03/10 @ 27803 miles - Garage Services Liverpool Subaru Specialist
60k/72 Months - 21/10/10 @ 31735 miles - C.L Auto Services - TIMING BELT REPLACED
70k/84 Months - 25/05/11 @ 34879 miles - Keith Price Subaru
80k/96 Months - 23/05/12 @ 38123 miles - Scooby Projects Independant Subaru Specialists
The PFF7 alloys are in good condition. I wouldn't describe them as mint but I would personally rate them at about 8/10. Only one wheel has very minor surface spoke scuffing.
All tyres are almost new. There were 2 new Nexen N6000 235/40/18 front tyres on when I bought it and I have just put 2 of the same on the back. Having already had 2 new ones on the front and previously used Nexens on other performance cars I can't really fault them. I don't do track days and I don't constantly push the car so I've never spent £160 a corner. Others may have a differing opinion on tyres but they review well and I rate them.
MOT runs out next July with the tax running out on 31st feb 2013.
Recent discs and pads also which means no immediate expense at all on the car.
I've included below some recent pictures of when it was being cleaned just to give you an idea. I will get some more shots of keys/docs etc along with some interior shots for you and some up to date engine pictures (although nothing has changed under there).
As previously said I personally think the car is immaculate. It's HPI clear and bodywork doesn't show any signs of damage. Even still has the original stickers inside the door pillars etc. Apart from the odd stone chip on the front bumper there is very little in the way of marks on the car especially given it's age. A credit to it's previous owners really.
I've priced the car at £8100 given the money i've spent on it and that there is nothing that needs doing.
The car can be seen in the South West Wales area.
I do work in Swansea if that make it easier for anyone to meet up for a viewing.

I do agree with you mate. It is a good offer and it's the best one I've had so far.
It hasn't been for sale for long so will see how it goes.
Appreciate the offer.

hmmmm
I think £7550 is a very fair offer, he the seller isnt willing to accept a few hundred quid off the asking price in the current market then move on and find another car!
Its a very nice STI but isnt worth the asking price.

Thanks for the comments Jinkus but can you keep the negative comments to yourself please.
It's purely your opinion and holds no relevance to the sale.
I don't spoil other people's threads so don't see why I should get mine spoiled.

Apologies my comments may have been taken in the wrong context, I was merely suggesting that there are lots of of nice examples out there for the money you have been offered. Your car looks stunning and as a P1 owner you are making the right choice ;-)
Again there was no malice ment in the comment I was merely stating the obvious.
