Default Immaculate v4 sti ... Deposit taken...

It’s probably not the best time of year to sell a car at the moment but I’m in no rush to sell and the cars currently sorn and tucked away for the winter. I’m only advertising it on the forum until the new year, when I will re-tax the car and advertise it elsewhere. I’ve owned the car since May and have only covered about 1,000miles in it. Selling due to the fact I want to do track days next year and the car is far too good to track.

Before I purchased the car I viewed around 6 other classics and none were in as good a condition as this. I purchased the car from Sam at J Performance Cars in Coventry.

1997 V4 JDM STI
75,800 miles
2 previous keepers since import in 2009
MOT until May – taxed expired
Documented service history
All import documents
296bhp low boost and 358bhp high boost – have graphs to prove (car was mapped by Bob Rawle)
Recent cambelt
2 keys and alarm fobs

Engine/Drivetrain Modifications:

Simtek Ecu with switchable maps
GT Spec 2 3 bolt headers (Harvey Smith heat wrapped)
Harvey Smith trick up pipe (Harvey Smith heat wrapped)
Harvey Smith TD05 20G turbo (Harvey Smith heat wrapped)
Cobra 3 inch downpipe (Harvey Smith heat wrapped)
Cobra 3 Inch non resonated cat back exhaust with 4.5 inch tail pipe
RCM huge K&N filter with stainless trumpet & MAF less Samco hose
Harvey Smith 550cc injectors
255lph Walbro fuel pump
Custom breather setup with D1 catch can & braided breather hoses
HDI GT2 front mount intercooler
GGR Racing 230mm Sports clutch
HKS SSQV 2 valve
Samco red coolant hoses
All vacuum hoses replaced with red silicone hoses
AC system removed
RCM radiator cooling panel
Magnecor coil leads
NGK PFR7B grade 7 Iridium spark plugs
Anodized red Simota oil cap
Magnetic sump plug
RCM alloy battery clamp
Millers Cfs 10w50 Nanodrive racing oil and genuine pink sti oil filter
Millers transmission oils

Suspension Modifications:

Ksport 356mm 8 pots
EBC yellow stuff front and rear pads
Goodridge braided brake lines
AP dot 5.1 brake fluid
DLM brake bias valve modification
Original STI struts with Apex lowering springs
Genuine STI carbon front strut brace
Fast road geometry setup

Wheels/Tires Modifications:

18 inch PPF7 Reps with 4 x Falken 452 tyres - powder coated strawberry red

Interior/Exterior Modifications:

Exterior:

Full respray in 2010 at the cost of £3000 in the newer hatch brighter white (paint code 230 Bright white)
Jun front Splitter
Clear indicators lenses
HID 4500K headlight kit
Vinyl black sun strip

Interior:

2003 JDM WRX black front seats
OMP 330mm flat bottom alacantara steering wheel
Prosport 60mm boost gauge (bar)
Clifford G5 Black jack Cat 1 alarm
JVC MP3 head unit
Alpine uprated speakers front & rear

The car is completely immaculate with no rust what so ever, the underside is absolutely immaculate, & the body work is perfect with no rust anywhere and none of the wheels are kerbed either. I get so many comments on how fresh & tidy this car looks. The oil and filter have just been changed 3 weeks ago.

As you can imagine the car has had alot of money spent on it and has thousands in receipts.

It’s a very well set up and maintained car and personaly I think it’s one of the cleanest examples around. It’s been timed at trax 0-60 @ 3.95sec and has run a 12.6 qtr mile at Santa Pod.

The car will be re-taxed for 6 months and can have a fresh MOT once sold.

£4,950.

Any serious enquiries please pm

These are the only pictures I have at the moment due to the fact the car is garaged at my place of work, pictures from when I purchased the car back in May and the last two showing the change of wheel colour. More pictures can be taken or e-mailed to any serious buyer.

Few pics I have showing wheel colour change:-

Classic sti's are the bollox in white, they look even better when they're as tidy as yours looks.

Out of interest where did you get that 'U' shaped intercooler pipe that joins onto the turbo?

Wow.. had a few pms and a call from a chap near Scotalnd that sounds promising pending further pictures...

For those who have asked..

Harvey 20g, trick pipe, 550 injectors, wrapping of headers/downpipe/turbo etc were all purchased new in November last year and have a receipt for £2237 for the work and have covered approx 2.5k.

Ksports were purchased new by myself in May and have covered approx 400-500 miles and again have a receipt for them.

Engine is standard and box is factory 5 speed.

Intercooler was already fitted when I purchased the car, thanks for positive comments
