Default 500 bhp spec type R in white

Here we go again spent another 4K last year on the car biginning of a new year and pastures new .......I know ther will be a few people out there thinking im mad but i was 50 back in december and i realy need to be a bit more realistic ???? lol
My car is a 97 type R in imaculate condition with a 6 year build of well over 24k inc purchase price .Its well sorted and crys out for nothing only tyres soon.It underwent a paint job last year and radical changes with the drive train and turbo set up .Its been religously mapped by Bob Rawle the past 4 years and 90% of all parts have been purchased from Advanced Automotive or RCM except the turbo which I bought off here last year new..The car is running around 500 bhp according to Bob who as you all know isnt to far out with his calculations
Spec as follows
2.0 cdb forged with
Mahle first oversive pistons
Eagle rods
V9 nitrate cross drilled crank
Race bearings
Rcm water pump
Rcm oil pump
Rcm timming belt guid
New cam belt and kit fitted last year
ARP head stud conversion
Conetic head gaskits
V9 sti 6 speed fly wheel
V9 exceedy pink clutch new last year
V9 uk sti 6 speed gear box and drive train diff drive shafts
with the taller 5/6 185 mph
Simtec ecu a/l l/c fitted and mapped by Bob Rawle
Paralel fuel lines with ally distrabution blocks Goodrich braided lines and fittings
Rcm power enterprise injectors
Rotated inlet
Custom built alternator brackets
Relocated power steering res with braided hoses
Alloy breather can with braided hoses
Twisted turbo kit
RCM pipe work
RCM water and oil fitting kit
RCM induction kit
Laterals GT30
Tail external waist gate
RCM gt spec headers
3" straight through exaust
Front mount intercooler with custom pipe work
Big alloy race rad
Big Bocsh fuel pump with a spec c anti surge tank
Brakes
AP Raceing 4 pots on the front
STD on rear
Braided brake lines

BC bn series coilovers

6 spoke 17s powder coated blue to match decals
Yoko Pradas comming to the end of there life

Intereor
prety much std except
Big fire ext
Fuel air ratio meter
2 clock pillar pod with rev counter and boost guage

Relocated batery and wash bottle to free up space in engine bay
Carbon fibre seibon bonnet painted white

The car was mapped by Bob last oct and his reconing say its running arround 500 hp on tescos 99 @1.8 bar
I cant seem to get any pics up but there is plenty in my album ....feel free to ask any questions
Im looking for arround 10 k for the car which i know sounds alot but anyone out there who has built one to a simular spec will tell you its a steel .....Its also tax and tested

I like that a lot, wouldn't budge on 10k, easily worth that, in bits that would be worth a load more id guess

Almost tempted to try and sell mine, good luck with the sale

Needs pics as i cant see them baby pics.£10k in this climate is alot of money.So deserves good pics for a good motor.

Loooooovley peice of kit. Good luck with the sale. u know ull miss it once its gne. 500 hp in a type r makes a ultimate classic scooby. My mate Rog is after one will send this link to him. Its a steeeeeel at 10k.

Aaaaaaargh!.......why are all these mega 2 doors on sale when I'm skint
I would whole heartedly agree about Mr Rawle, he is the main man for mapping!
Looks a great car Andy ,GLWTS,John (ex Version 5 Type R V Ltd & P1 owner)

PS nothing wrong with being 50, I'm in my late forties myself (cough...40-15 )
I just convince myself I'm as young as I feel & don't worry about repeating myself.
